A Note from Us

Eat Honey Pretty began with curiosity.

The more we learned about Malaysian wild honey, the more we realised how little most people knew about it.

Behind every jar were forests, flowering seasons, skilled harvesters, native bees, and traditions passed down through generations. Yet honey was often reduced to sweetness alone.

We started Eat Honey Pretty to share a different perspective.

One that values provenance as much as flavour.

One that treats honey not as a commodity, but as a living expression of landscape, season, and craft.

Today, our work continues through honey curation, sensory education, and experiences like Honey Salone, inviting others to discover what makes Malaysian wild honey so remarkable.

Welcome to Eat Honey Pretty

Celebrating Malaysia's wild bee honey,

one harvest at a time.

✦ Who We Are ✦

Eat Honey Pretty was created to share a deeper appreciation for Malaysian wild honey. Rooted in more than a decade of experience through East Honey & Herb and Nirwana Wild Bee Honey, the brand brings together honey curation, sensory education, and immersive tasting experiences.

We believe honey is more than a sweetener. It is a reflection of landscape, season, biodiversity, and culture. Through thoughtfully sourced collections and experiences such as Honey Salone, we invite people to discover the people, places, and traditions behind every spoonful.

Today, Eat Honey Pretty brings that experience into a new form, a place where honey is curated with the same care often reserved for fine tea, wine, and specialty coffee.

Through honey tastings, sensory education, storytelling, and thoughtfully sourced collections, we invite others to discover the people, places, and traditions behind every spoonful.

This isn’t a fashion statement. It’s a frontline uniform.

Wild bee sourcing isn’t for the faint-hearted and she makes it look effortless.

She’s not climbing the corporate ladder.

She’s scaling rainforest giants.

Because true honey doesn’t come easy and that’s exactly why it’s worth it.

Where the best honey begins — high above, deep within.

✦ A Journey That Began in 2012 ✦

What began as an interest in Malaysian wild honey gradually became a lifelong pursuit. Over the years, Nirwana worked closely with harvesters, visited forests and wetlands across Malaysia, and developed a deeper understanding of the ecosystems, traditions, and people behind every harvest.

That journey eventually led to international honey communities, sensory education programs, and recognition at the London Honey Awards.

Yet the purpose remained unchanged:

To help more people understand and appreciate the remarkable diversity of Malaysian honey.

✦ A Voice Refined by the Wild ✦

Nirwana Tuan Sariff is Malaysia's first certified Honey Sommelier. Her work has taken her from harvesting sites in Malaysian rainforests to international honey sensory programs and tasting communities abroad.

Through years of tasting, study, and field experience, she has developed a deep appreciation for how bee species, floral sources, seasonality, and landscape shape the character of honey.

Today, she continues to advocate for Malaysian wild and native bee honeys through education, curation, and sensory experiences that help others discover honey in a new way.

✦  The Soft Power of Honey  ✦

“I didn’t just want people to taste honey.
I wanted them to feel it.
To know the forest, the flowers, and the hands behind it.”
Nirwana
